Proper Conference Attire

For plenary sessions, poster sessions, and the reception dinner, attire is business casual. Think slacks, dresses, blouses, tailored shirts, sweaters, jackets, and dress shoes. Aim for something professional and comfortable — you’ll be on your feet and networking across multiple days.

Posters and Competition

The conference includes student poster sessions and competitions — a great opportunity to share your research, get feedback from the ASGSR community, and connect with researchers in your field. More details on how to participate will be added soon.

Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition

Each year at the ASGSR Annual Conference, undergraduate and graduate students are invited to compete in the Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition. The challenge: present your research clearly and compellingly — in just three minutes. It’s a great way to sharpen your communication skills and share your work with the broader ASGSR community.
